My grandma always greeted me with sesame crunch whenever I visited her house. She harvested her own sesame seeds and made me healthy and delicious sesame crunch.
My grandma past away ten years ago. It is so sad that I can't taste her sesame crunch anymore. I tried to make one just like her. I tried so hard to remember her sesame crunch, but I failed to make one like her. It still tastes good, though.Let me share my SESAME CRUNCH recipe!
First, get some sesame seeds from the markets.
Ottogi roasted sesame seeds are cleaned through a strict process. They taste good and have a flavorful and aromatic scent.
- Sesame 100g
- Various nuts (Pumpkin seeds and peanuts)
- Sugar 3 Tbsp
- Corn Syrup (or Rice Syrup) 6 Tbsp
- Water 1.5 Tbsp
Heat the syrup until sugar is all melted.
It is ready to be cooled and shaped.
